Drafinsub is ready to start the first Saturation job in Italy for UXO Operations
These are Saturation Dives for the UXO campaign in the laydown area where the new breakwater for the Port of Genoa will be built.
It’s the Pergenova Breakwater project: the largest work envisaged in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). This is a one of a kind construction site, which will see Drafinsub committed to providing underwater support for the construction of the new breakwater right from the early stages of preparation.
Drafinsub has made men (engineers, technicians and divers) and equipment available for the project. In particular we provided the Saturation Diving System Raffaella, which allows the optimization of diver’s bottom times at the depths for which the UXO campaign is planned.
